CLUB NEWS.

Former first team manager Sean Hackett has agreed to help current manager Gareth Jenkins in a coaching role. Sean will help out with training sessions and assist Jenks at matches when available.

Also Eric Grieve has been appointed as goalkeeping coach. Eric did a few sessions at the end of last season, he previously coached Glenrothes Strollers FC in Scotland.

Jenks said “It’s great to have two experienced coaches helping out this season”.

The Saints Ladies played a friendly at Builth Wells last night against Llandrindod Ladies FC going down 6-2. This was a big improvement on the previous meeting between the two sides. The Saints scorers were Yasmin Mitton and Rebecca Payne.

The Spar League AGM was held on Monday evening, Chairman Martin Tong picked up a cheque off the committee for the first team coming runners up in the league. Brendan Hackett was also presented with his player of the year award, the club were also invited to a dinner in Cardiff where they will receive the Fair Play award off the FAW.

The Mid Wales South AGM will take place this Monday at the Hundred House Inn.
