The Saints start the new season off with a home game against Waterloo Rovers FC.
After winning promotion last season manager Gareth Jenkins has strengthened the squad with several new signings. Pre season has gone well with one draw and five wins.
The Saints Bar will be open from 12 and there will be football on the tv.
The Gaffer had this to say –
“I am looking forward to getting the season started after putting in some decent performances in pre season. We are without a few players for the first game which is not ideal but the squad has strengthened over the summer” He went on to say “Waterloo are a well established Spar 1 side who have finished 6th, 6th and 7th over the last three seasons and will be tough opponents. Hopefully we can continue our pre season form and get the season off to a good start”.
Jenks will be without, Stu Davies(away), Rob Snedden(away), Josh Davies, Phil Davies and Adam Finn are on the long term injury list, all are making a slow recovery, we hope to see them in the green and white soon. New signing Ryan Davies is suspended and Steve Goodwin is a major doubt due to work commitments which is a major blow after both stood out in pre season.
