Weekend Preview.

All three Senior sides are in action this weekend.

Friday 

The Reserves start the weekend off with a tough looking trip tonight to Llanidloes Town Reserves, tomorrow sees The First Team head to Bow Street FC in a The Welsh Cup. On Sunday The Sunday Saints are home to Shooters FC in a cup match.

Manager Tiny Harding will be without a host of players due to work and a local party which is on tonight. He has worked hard over the last 24 hours and managed to get a squad of 14 to travel.

Friday 

Llanidloes Town Reserves v Saints Reserves  k.o. 7.30pm. (League).

Saturday 

First Team manager Gareth Jenkins will be without Chris Preece(injured), Tom Lewis(away), Steve Morgan(weddding), Matt Croose(away) and Steve Goodwin is 50/50 due to work commitments. Striker Kevin Jones returns to the squad after missing last week through illness, reserve team stopper Tom Bevan will step in to cover for Lewis, Sam Bradley also returns after missing last week.

Jenko had this to say “We had a good battle against Bow Street last month and won by the odd goal after being 2-0 at one stage. We played well that day and know we will have to be at our best again”. He went on to say “It was disappointing  to concede an equaliser deep into injury time against Penrhyncoch FC last weekend but it was a very good performance from us a good point gained. Hopefully we can put in another good shift and progress to the next round”.

Bow Street FC v Saints First Team   k.o.  2.30pm (Welsh Cup).

Sunday 

Sunday Saints v Shooters FC   k.o. 11am (Cup).
