Manager Fil Wis last night, braved the weather and went all the way to New Radnor to sign Simon Hamer as stand in for injured keeper Bryan Kirkham. Simon said he was delighted to be asked and excited to sign for a club that had aspirations of playing in the Spa Mid Wales League next season. He added that he wanted to make sure that he played his part in helping to achieve that ambition for Bryan and his family. Fil said “ I think Simon Knows that I am really pleased to be able to ask him to join us but not pleased about the circumstances that has made it necessary. We are all doing this for Bryan now”
