Hay beat Builth Wednesday 7-0 on friday night under the lights. Rob Snedden put the Saints 1-0 up after a huge kick from keeper Ian Jones, Snedden let it bounce once before hitting a sweet shot past the Builth keeper. Phil Davies made it 2-o after running from his own half, cutting in and shooting into the bottom corner of the net. Snedden soon made it 3-o shooting across the keeper after good work from Gavin Williams and Davies down the left. The impressive Snedden put Davies through to make it 4-0. Thomas Weaver scored on the stroke of half time with a good finish from the edge of the box. Ht 5-0. Hay found the second half hard going with the Builth youngsters never giving up, goal 6 came when Gary Keeble hit a 25 yard screamer up into the top right hand corner giving Builths keeper no chance. Ollie Cooke got his first of the season a well deserved goal after the amount of work rate he has put in this season. Final score Saints 7 Builth Wednesday 0.
