This weekend sees The First Team in action on Saturday and Sunday in cup matches. On Saturday we travel to Aberystwyth Uni in the 4th round of The Central Wales Cup and on Sunday we host Carno FC in the Semi – Final of The Radnorshire Cup.
The Saints Reserves are home to Newcastle FC on Saturday whilst The Saints Ladies are home on Sunday against Newtown Ladies FC, both of these are league fixtures.
Saturday
Aberystwyth Uni v Saints First Team k.o. 2pm
The Gaffer had this to say “We are facing two difficult games against two high flying teams in Aber Uni FC and Carno FC. It is also frustrating that after having a settled side for a few games we have a lot of players unavailable for this weekends fixtures”.
He went on to say “This will give a chance for the players coming in to stake a claim for a first team place. Aber Uni have won their last six games in the league and also boast eight wins out of eight at home in the league. They have always been a good footballing side with bags of energy and are looking in a strong position to come back up to Spar 1 next season”.

The Gaffer had this to say ” Carno are also on a good run of form winning ten and drawing one of their last eleven games. We beat them 3-4 at the start of the season and put in a really good team performance. We know that the same level of performance will be needed again to get to the final”.
