I very much hope that there will be a large following going to Latham Park Newtown on Friday to witness history in the making, win or loose no other Hay side, no matter how famous, have ever achieved this stage in the J Emrys Morgan Cup. I feel sure that all committee members, WAGS, family and friends will want to share this special occassion with these special players.
Although we are still involved on all fronts, we know that we have won nothing as yet. Our feet are firmly on the ground. Our priority is the League but these are important games and we want to win them all. I hope that you will all share with me in wishing the squad all the very best for friday and the rest of the season.
Finally, it is only permitted to name and play 3 substitutes in these cup competitions so I would like to say to those players not selected, and in particular Josh Davies and Stu Davies, you are all part of the squad even if you are not on the pitch. Thank you all, the squad will be:
