The First Team were due to host Carno FC on Saturday in a league fixture but due to their trophy match against Sully Sports FC being abandoned they will be replay it this weekend. That means The Saints will now travel to play Aber Uni in The CWFA Cup 4th round.
The Reserves are without a fixture this weekend, The Sunday Saints are away at Cosmos FC whilst our Ladies side are also on their travels where they will face Llanfyllin Ladies.
Saturday
Aber Uni v Saints First Team k.o. 2pm Central Wales Cup 4th Round.
The Gaffer had this to say “Aber Uni are having a good season at the top end of division 2 and look in a strong position to come back up to Spar 1 next season. They have always been a good footballing side with bags of energy. They have beaten Montgomery and also gave Penrhyncoch a good game, so we know we are in for a difficult cup tie”.
He went on to say ” We played well against Montgomery last week in awful conditions and kept our third clean in the last four games which is very pleasing. We have got a number of players unavailable on Saturday but the players coming in deserve their places in the squad after performing well in the reserves and representative sides recently. Hopefully we can put in another good performance and progress to the quarter final”.
