Both The Sunday Saints and The Saints Ladies fell to heavy defeats today. Larissa Griffiths did put the Ladies 0-1 up but last seasons champions Llanfyllin Ladies went in 2-1 up at the break and added more in the second half as we tired.
Goal scorer for The Sunday Saints was Nathan Heighway with by all accounts a goal of the season contender.
Goalkeeper Tom Lewis has decided to leave the club and rejoin his old side Kington Town FC. Tom played a big part in helping the first team get promoted last season, we wish Tom all the best at his new club.
