As the season is about to start I wan’t to take this opportunity to thank a few people who have helped with the ground in the pre and off season none more so than Cliff Havard who has spent many hours each week on the pitches and outfield, we are very lucky to have Cliff’s services this season, thanks a million mate the pitches look first class.
I’d also like to thank Graeme and Garry Keeble along with the old man of the family Derek for their work at the ground, also Kevin Jones and Chris Preece who continue to be more than just players but great clubmen, a big thank you must also go to Luke Jones from the school I work at for all the strimming he did during the last couple of months.
We are a very lucky club to have 2 pitches but each one takes huge amounts of work to maintain, so once again thank you all and keep up the good work.
