Tomorrow night (Tuesday) we host newly promoted Radnor Valley FC in Spar League Division 1 match.
Under the leadership of Steve Pigott, Radnor won the Mid Wales South and were promoted to Spar League Division 2. In their first year they were promoted on the final day of the season with a last minute winner at Borth securing them a place in division 1.
They have played one game of the new season drawing 2-2 with a depleted squad at Tywyn Bryncrug FC. In Joey Price they have one best strikers around.
The Gaffer had this to say “Radnor Valley are a youthful side that have gained promotion in the last two season’s. They have also added some experienced players to the squad over the summer. I am expecting it to be another tough local derby game”
He went on to say “We had a lot of players missing against Llanidloes on Saturday but the players who stepped in put in everything and we got a decent point away from home. Hopefully we can build on the decent start to the season and get the points”.
