The Saints are out of ‘The Welsh Cup’ after a 1-2 home defeat to Llanrhaeadr FC.

Once again we started fast and were on the front foot pegging the visitors back. Brendan Hackett was through on three occasions one on one with the keeper, he the post and the other two went inches wide.
We finally went ahead when Hackett crossed from the right to Jack Biggs, he placed his header past the Llanrhaeadr keeper. 1-0
Five minutes later it was 1-1 when a good move saw the visitors head in a goal by Iwan Matthews.
We continued to pressure the ‘Llan’ goal but their big back four dealt with all our attacks very well.

Five minutes into the second half an excellent move by Llanrhaeadr saw Iain Edmunds volley them into a 1-2 lead.
The next 30 minutes were quite even with both side having chances, ‘Llan’ hit the bar and Rob McNamara and Adi Lawford went close for us.
Credit to the Llanrhaeadr back four who dealt with everything we threw at them.
