Playing up the slope Steve Morgan opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a left footed shot which gave the Welshpool keeper no chance, That was Morgan’s 7th goal in the last three games.
We continued to put Welshpool under pressure, Brendan Hackett hitting the underside of the bar, Morgan and Jack Biggs both saw efforts well saved by the home keeper. Jordan Baker in our goal didn’t have a save to make in the first half due to our defence playing so well, two long range efforts went wide of his goal.

In the second half we were more dominant playing down the slope, however, it took until 62 minutes to net the second, Morgan saw his shot saved but Adi Lawford was on hand to tap in the loose ball. 0-2.
Hackett ended any Welshpool thoughts of a comeback when he hit a 30 yard effort into the top right corner from the left side of the pitch.
The young Welshpool keeper made several more saves in the second half, we also saw a goal wiped out for offside as we continued to pile on the pressure. Ft 0-3.
We played well from start to finish in this one, my only complaint would be we should of scored a couple more.
