The Saints Reserves are out of ‘The Emrys Morgan Cup’ after a 3-1 loss at Bont FC.
Our goal scorer was Josh Wisniewski.
Managers thoughts:
This was a highly frustrating game, one where we could have played for an extra hour and still struggled to score. The pitch didn’t suit our game, and after 30mins you sensed this might not quite be our day. We pressed really well, putting them on the back foot and forcing them into errors. This was clearly Bont’s toughest game for a while. Yet to be fair to them, when the finally found their touched they scored, although it was a mistake that led to their then deflected goal!

We had high hopes for the second half, and yet the same thing happened again, we pressed and they scored on their only attacks! A late goal by Josh Wisniewski gave us hope but it was really too late! I guess we’ll focus on the league then.
