Talgarth Town FC lifted ‘The Ron Ellis Memorial Cup’ after defeating Brecon Northcote 2-0 in a close match.
A corner from captain Jordan Harvey went straight in with help from a strong wing just before half time to put Talgarth 1-0 up at the break.
The second half saw Northcote pile on the pressure but due to a couple of poor misses and a great save by Martyn Norwood the score stayed 1-0.
Northcote were made to pay for missing their chances when Scott Pavey fired in the second goal. ft 2-0
Dan Martin of Talgarth was selected as man of the match.

Hay Senior Cup
The Saints First team ran out 6-1 winners against Builth Wells FC.
After trailing to an early goal and starting very sluggish we clicked into gear just before half time and scored 3 quick goals. After a good half a dozen corners Stu Davies headed in at the back post to make it 1-1. Jack Biggs scored a quick fire brace to see us go in at half time 3-1 up.
We dominated the second half and added 3 more goals to our tally through Adi Lawford, Rob Snedden and Matt James.
Ft 6-1.
