I spoke with Mike tonight and it turns out his injury was a lot worse than just a break.
He went into hospital on Tuesday morning expecting to have a new plaster cast fitted however after a couple of x rays he was informed he needed an operation immediately.
The good news is the operation was a success, he had his Fibula plated and screwed, he also had to have his ankle bone put back into the joint. He’s been told he will be in plaster for 4 to 6 weeks minimum.
