A strong looking Newbridge side won 2-5 at Forest Road on Tuesday night.
The Saints more than held their own for 80 minutes and with the score at 2-2 could and should have netted a couple of more goals but it was the visitors who showed their class and went up the other end and went 2-3 up. A couple of late goals gave the score an unfair look on the balance of play, however, Newbridge showed their class when it mattered and in my opinion won’t be far off the top of Spar 1 at the end of the season.
