Weekend Fixtures.

First up is the little matter of a derby against the old enemy Talgarth Town, then on Sunday Jenko takes his team to their first away fixture of the season when they visit United AFC.

Tom Weaver will be without youngsters Stu Snedden, Adam Finn, Brendan Hackett and Toby Johnson but welcomes back to he squad Phil Davies, Matty Drew, Wilf Ratcliffe and Steve Goodwin. The other player who is a doubt is utility player Josh Davies whose other half gave birth earlier today to a baby girl.

Joint manager Tom Weaver told the website ” I saw some positives from last weeks match against Rhos, home wins are very important as results are showing how tight the league is this season”.

On Sunday morning Jenko’s boys face their first away game, anyone who has played in the Hereford Sunday league will know playing away is a total different kettle of fish. Our Sunday Saints have had a perfect start winning 8-0 and then 10-0 in the two home games to date.

It will be all change this Sunday as Jenkins utilises his big squad, there will be 8 changes to last weekends squad, Garry Keeble, Steve Jones, Craig Forsyth and the veteran Karl Warn has dusted his boots off to make a come back.

Jenkins told the website “I’m hoping performances will keep on improving as the opposition will be tougher each week, i’m more than happy with the start the boys have made”.
