Saints Win Away.

The Saints started slow on the heavy Sennybridge pitch, it took 15 minutes before they sorted their passing game out. Around the 20 minute mark Gavin Williams met a cross and finished at the back post to put the Saints 1-0 up. After the first goal the Saints took total control of the game and it was soon 2-0, Ollie Cooke finishing well from close range. Kevin Jones then scored his 51st of the season to send the Saints in 3-0 up at half-time.

With 2 minutes gone on the clock in the second half Cooke got his second of the game again finishing from close range. Michael Ward then scored the goal of the game after a lovely chip to the far post by Jones, Ward hit it first time on the volley to make the score 5-0. Captain Tom Weaver got the sixth after he glanced his header past the stranded Senny keeper from a  Rob Snedden free kick . Kevin Jones got  his second of the night in the last minute when he burst past the full back and hit a 20 yard shot into the back of the net to make the final score 7-0.

Another good win and three more points. A decent team performance against a side who have picked up a few decent results lately. After consulting my fellow traveling Saints supporters we all agreed that the man of the match was for the second game running Gavin Williams.
