Many of the players taking part this evening will have little idea who Sid Wilding was and what he meant to the club. Sid WAS Hay St Mary’s Football Club. Sid will often be remembered for his dedication, enthusiasm and passion for the club throughout the many years he was involved, although some will remember him as a slightly biased linesman who occasionally gave the advantage to the defensive team! Either way, Sid was a true legend of the club whose legacy will forever be remembered thanks to this wonderful trophy.
