The Saints reached yet another cup final on Sunday by beating Shobdon with a solitary strike from Rob Snedden. I’m told it was a goal worthy of winning any match, Snedz hit a long range winner with his left foot in the second half. Bryan Kirkham had to be at his best on a couple of occasions to help the Saints through to the final.
I’ve spoken to a few of the supporters and have had several different players names mentioned for the man of the match. I’m told Captain Tom Weaver was impressive plus Rob Snedden, also Bryan Kirkham for making important saves when called upon.
