This weekend sees all the our sides in action. The Saints under 16’s get us under way on Saturday morning when they face Hay-On-Wye under 16’s in a derby match. The First team will host Presteigne St Andrew’s FC, the Reserves travel to Newcastle FC.  On Sunday the Saints face a tough test when they host Stagecoach FC.

Gareth Jenkin’s side will be hoping for a win tomorrow against Presteigne FC to keep the pressure on leaders Knighton Town FC. The side will be without Adam Finn(knee), Phil Davies(knee) and Adi Lawford(back) who are all injured.

Jenko had this to say “Presteigne have had an up and down season so far, however, when we played there they gave us a good run for our money and had us on the back foot in the second half”. He went on to say “We put in a good performance against Newbridge last week after a long lay off. The amount of possession we had and the football we played in those conditions was encouraging. We created a lot of goalscoring opportunities and another day could of had a hatful. Hopefully we can put in another good performance and keep the run going”.
