Hay’s Sunday Team play in the final of the Shelton Cup this coming Tuesday at Broomy Hill, Hinton. The Saints beat Heart of Oak 5-1 in the semi-final to reach the final stage and meet Bulmers of Division Two South. The opponents are top of their league with 9 wins from 10 and a goal difference of plus 37. They’ve lost just one game all season in a cup competition.
Hay are without Zack Snape who is in Florida but should otherwise have a full-team.
It is hoped that a good following will come to Hereford to support the Sunday boys in what should be the first of quite a few cup finals for the various Hay teams this year.
