Both Senior sides are in action tomorrow (Saturday).
The First Team welcome Aberaeron FC to Forest Road in what looks a tough test. The Ceredigian side have made several good signings in the summer including a couple from last seasons Spar 1 champions Penrhyncoch FC.
‘The Reserves’ are also in for a tough game as they head to last seasons Mid Wales South Champions Rhayader Town Reserves.
First Team manager Gareth Jenkins has a strong squad to pick from after several missed out last week however, Steve Goodwin is still on the injury list and Tom Jenkins is unavailable.
Reserve Team manager Joe Emmett and assistant Tiny Harding welcome back Chris Preece and Darren Horrigan.
‘The Gaffer’ had this to say “Aberaeron have started really well this season and made a few key signings to their squad over the summer. They managed to get the double over us last season so we can expect another tough game”
He went on to say “We played really well in the second half against Rhayader last week with a number of players missing. We were on top at 2-1 down and were unlucky not to get a point after a couple of key decisions went against us. Hopefully we can put in a big team performance and get a win to kick start our season”.
