Saints(hfd league) 2 Hinton Reserves 2.

It was Hinton who opened the scoring after 15 minutes from a corner, a Hinton midfelder was unmarked and tapped the ball in from 6 yards out.

The Saints were thankful to Mike Havard and Chris Mills who were both outstanding at the back in the first half. The game changed on 30 minutes when the Hinton goalkeeper was shown a straight red card after bringing down Mike Price who was in on goal, Gore took over in goal which stopped their supply of passes from the back.

Right on the stroke of half time the Saints equalised after Garry Keeble whipped the ball into the box from the right and Price timed his run to perfection to score from 8 yards out. ht 1-1.
